As we inch closer and closer to December 14th, the day in which the Electors of the Electoral College will gather to certify the results of the 2020 Presidential Election, the nation‘s Political junkies are beginning to turn their eyes towards the state of Georgia and its two U.S Senate runoff elections in January. Back on Election Night, the two Incumbent Senators; Kelly Loeffler (R) and David Purdue (R) were narrowly trailing and leading their Democratic opponents respectively, which just about fell in line with various polls that were conducted within the state in the days leading up to Election Day. Between the two, neither are popular enough to write off the races as being ‘In the bag’ for the GOP as they might have been, say 10 years ago. Senator Purdue has the edge, albeit a narrow one, on Senator Loeffler as far as popularity is concerned (hence why he was leading Democratic challenger Jon Ossoff). However, both will certainly be facing uphill battles in order to retain control of their Senate seats and in the process, ensure that the Republican Party holds on to its slim Senate Majority. If Loeffler and Purdue both come out on top in the January 6th runoffs, you can certainly thank the vigorous campaigning that President Trump, Vice President Pence, and various Conservative figures from across the country will be doing on their behalf. But that in itself will not be enough. Conservatives from all across the nation ought to consider heading down to Georgia to knock on doors, pass out literature for the two candidates, hold get out the vote events, etc. These two seats are winnable, but it’s going to take lots of hard work and dedication from Patriots all across our beautiful nation to ensure that this happens. Under no circumstances can we afford to let both Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock to head to Washington D.C and tow the Biden administration’s agenda bit by bit, piece by piece. Besides the progress made by President Trump that Biden could ruin through Executive Orders, he could do even more damage if he has a Blue House and Senate to work with. Re-Read that sentence for extra motivation to do your part to help keep Loeffler and Purdue in the Senate, and at the very least, one of them!
God Bless America!
